What makes direct sales the greatest industry on planet?
Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at 3:24PM So why is it that direct sales is the greatest industry on the planet?
- Is it because of the low start up capital to get started? Think about that. For a few thousand dollars you can get started and build a multiple million dollar business. No brick and mortar or employees to worry about.
- Is it the training and support for any one that’s never been involved so they too can achieve any thing they want in life? I know when I got started I had my mentors that I idolized and listened to, but I simply plugged into and followed the proven system which produced incredible results. I knew nothing when I got started but simply followed the system.
- Is it the working from the comfort of your home? I remember the 22 years of driving 65 miles one way each day to and from the coalmines. Getting home late and leaving early. To now stay and use my valuable time on anything but a commute is priceless.
- Is it the incredible like-minded people? I have surrounded myself with the most amazing gifted and talented people on the planet. People that are smarter than I and gifted with brilliance. If you want success, surround your self with successful people.
- Is it the MONEY? I have made a lot of money in this industry over the last decade. Anyone can do it. We all are on a level playing field. And if you will apply what we teach and back it up with work ethic, you too will make as much money as you are willing to work for.
- Is it the traveling around the world meeting new people and new cultures? I had been out side the United States one time when I got started in this industry. I have had the privilege to now visit life long friends in all parts of the world and I am only getting started. I have a bucket list a mile long.
I could go on and on as to why this is the greatest industry on the planet. But I have yet to cover the real reason this is the place to be.
Last night I came to kick back on my bed and as I opened the blinds the full moon had just risen over the mountains above my home. It was brilliant. Its white rays had poured out over all the landscape around me. The leaves on the trees were glowing white from the kiss of the moon. It was incredible.
This morning my email was down so I decided to go wash my truck. The sun had just broke the horizon as I left my home. It was stunning. I slowed down and watched as the rays of life penetrated everything in their path. A new day had begun. I stopped for moment to think about how many sunrise and sunsets I missed while underground in the mines? How many times did I miss out on the magic that accompanies a full moon rising, a sun setting or rising and giving birth to a new day.
How many functions did I miss out on with my kids as they grew up? How many times did I miss out on Xmas or other holidays because I was at work making a living?
This is the most amazing and fastest growing industry on the plant. But what makes this the greatest industry on the planet is that it gives us the time to appreciate and give thanks each day for the simple thing in life which are truly the most important. Our family and friends, sunsets, new leaves on the trees in the spring and then watching them shed in the fall making way for old man winter to sink his freezing grip into our bones for a few months to make way for fresh life and abundance in a few months
Now I can take the time to enjoy all of amazing shows mother nature puts on for me and I will never miss another holiday or family function. I am in charge and you can be too.
Give thanks each day for all of the abundance that surrounds you and amazing things will always show up in your life. Make sure you recognize them when they do.
