Families Are what it's all about.
Friday, April 23, 2010 at 1:42PM I am flying high above the mountains of Colorado on my way to Houston and the WMI home Office for a few Days. Then Off to New York to See the World Premier of Jay Kubassek’s new Movie”Meskada” in the Tribeca Film Festival.
As usually happens when I am flying, I decided to get out the laptop and add to my blog. The first thing that came to my mind was Family. Having arrived back from Wealth Masters 10th M2 Conference in Boca Raton FL, I keep thinking of my WMI family and also the great time I had with all my Children and Grandchildren in FL when the event ended. Lets start with my WMI family.
In attendance were over 300 incredible m2 Members. I once again had the time of my life mingling for 4 or 5 days with the most awesome and bright people from around the world. I want you to know how humbled I am each time one of you come and share with me your thoughts and feelings of WMI and what Kip, our Staff and a lot of incredibly talented leaders have built here. You touch, move and inspire me more than you know.
The Farwell Banquet was the greatest energy yet. WOW. I had a blast and I know each of you in attendance did as well. Again, the WMI Family at it’s best.
I had the privilege of flying all my Children and my two Grandsons out to FL for a few days of fun in the sun. For those of you that are my age, you know how tough it is to get all your kids in one place at one time. Well I did it. Day one was a lazy day at the beach. My Grandsons had never been to the ocean or beach before, so it was fun to watch them run all over in the sand with a smile from ear to ear all day. That night I treated my grandsons to their first ride in a Limo on our way to a great seafood dinner that night. They felt like rock stars. And they are in my eyes.
Day two was an airboat ride on the Everglades. What a trip that was. We saw Alligators, Turtles and Birds of all kinds. The weather again was picture perfect. Then the Boys insisted that Pa pa take them to the pool for a swim. It is so amazing to just sit back and watch them have a great time. The laughter and smiles are priceless.
The last day there was a day of rest. Off to the Spa went my Son Sean, My Daughters Jacqueline and Rachel and my Niece Emily. Facials, massages, pedicures. The whole nine yards. My Grandsons and I played crochet while they were getting spoiled at the spa.
We then had one last dinner at the Italian restaurant that evening before we flew home early the next day.
Family is truly what it is all about. Whether it is my WMI family or my flesh and blood family, they stick with you through thick or thin and love unconditionally always.
I am a lucky Guy. I get to hang with my WMI family 3, 4 or even 5 times a year. My Children are all in Utah and not too far away so we have many family gatherings through out the year. Family truly is the most important thing we have in life. Cherish your family and be sure to tell them how much you love them every chance you get.
I want to tell both of my families that you are the best and I love you lots.
